Experience the delectable cuisine of the Georgian culture
The tour starts with an authentic Georgian meal at one of the oldest restaurants in the city of Tbilisi, while your experienced guide tells you about the history and specifics of Georgian cuisine, and offers tips on how to eat like a local.
Wine and dine at a variety of eateries hidden in the charming back streets in the heart of the city. These areas offer contrasting sights of former splendour against modern architecture, amidst an authentic Tbilisi vibe!
Sample a walnut-spinach paste starter (Pkhali), a beet and sour plum salad or chicken in garlic and cream sauce, while listening to stories about the neighborhood, Tbilisi's history, and modern day life.
Georgian cuisine is not complete without its wines so together with delectable food, you'll be tasting selected natural wines of Georgia produced in the ancient Qvevri method, as well as Chacha - a strong local spirit, that Georgians call 'liquid happiness'!
